Fun with Ravens

Sorry for the lack of updates...I was in Moab, Utah with my folks. I saw all kinds of amazing stuff and caught a magnificent collared lizard. (With help from my Dad and brother.) Hope to get a picture soon!)
Anyway, I really liked the ravens living in Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Park. They have 'em in California too, of course, but they really stood out against all that orange Utah sandstone. One of them came to check us out when we had stopped for lunch on a hike in the Needles...We decided to be evil and feed the animals. We threw an apple core and a canned peach slice at the bird, who tasted first the apple core, then the canned peach, and very carefully picked up both in his beak and flew off. (You could practically hear him thinking.^^)
